Jessica Lewis
Live Beautiful Founder and Coordinator
Originally from Meadville, PA, Jessica graduated from Cedarville University (OH) in 2001 with a Broadcasting degree. That took her back to Erie, PA, where she worked at WCTL Christian radio. Jessica met her husband Dave at a downhere concert (he is their production manager)- and they were married 8 months later on Laguna Beach in California. Jessica had been road managing the band for 4 years, but is now at home with her daughter Cali. Jessica, Dave and Cali currently reside in Franklin, TN.
Live Beautiful began when Cali joined the Lewis family in May 2007. Dave, Jessica and Cali enjoyed traveling with the band all over the US in a 15 passenger van and trailer. After ten months of being on the road with a baby, Dave and Jessica both decided it was best for the girls to stay at home. Live Beautiful began to develop and grow as Jessica spent more time enjoying life at home.
To grow the message, Jessica began making tote bags that bore a simple message: “You’re Beautiful, Live Beautiful.” She soon discovered and created the Live Beautiful website and etsy shop to share her message.
As Live Beautiful continues to grow, Jessica has invited other writers and artists to join her in sharing the Live Beautiful message: DISCOVER, CREATE or ENJOY something beautiful every day. In May 2009, she opened the Live Beautiful Shop to feature artists who have developed products that help you look, feel and live "more beautiful." (Read more about the shops Mission and Philosophy.)
“We write about finding beauty in every day life. Whether it's a personal story or tips and advice, you can find inspiration here to help you live a more beautiful life. I began Live Beautiful as a way to encourage and remind people that they are beautiful, but now I realize that it is so much more than that. I am challenged to offer you my expertise in finding beauty amidst the mundane. God created a beautiful world; we can see His amazing artwork all around us.”

Wendy Miller
Live Beautiful ContributorWhat Wendy Writes About:
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.
Wendy believes William Blake’s words from The Auguries of Innocence depict one of the best definitions of beauty. For Live Beautiful Wendy writes about how we are wise to take a closer look at the word beautiful. God has given us wondrous treasures in this world and we are amiss if we hesitate to do a little investigating.
Wendy has been married for almost ten years (that’s two hands worth!) to a man who is her exact opposite, a man who complements her wonderfully. Together, they work hard to raise three hilarious little girls.
Writing is the best way Wendy’s discovered to express her thoughts and creativity. Her work has been published in inspirational books, online magazines and on various websites. She currently spends good chunks of her day plotting and writing her second novel.
Wendy is passionate about encouraging women through writing and speaking. She also enjoys creating craft projects, hiking, quilting and running. Feel free to visit her blog, All in a Day’s Thought and peek inside the window of her thoughts as she actively pursues what it means to follow the Lord. Mary Carver
Live Beautiful ContributorWhat Mary Writes About:
Mary blogs about an imperfect life at Giving Up on Perfect. She talks about family, faith, books, diet-friendly and fiber-filled foods like granola bars and nachos, celebrity look-alikes and chick flicks. You know, the important stuff.
Mary is a full-time working mom of a sweet and sassy toddler and wife to her high-school sweetheart. After growing up in a small town and going to college in the middle of nowhere, she now lives in the big city. Okay, so she really lives in a suburb of the medium-sized Midwest metropolitan area. But at least it only takes 10 minutes to drive to the nearest mall.
Wait . . . who shops at malls these days, anyway?
When her husband changed jobs and began working evenings, Mary got a little lonely. Thankfully, she discovered the blog world, and life has never been the same. Now her readers get the pleasure of “hearing” her “talk” about whatever her heart desires and the random thoughts rambling around her head, and she can save those precious weekend hours with her husband for more important things.
Like trips to the grocery store, debating the monthly budget, attending yet another family dinner and taking their daughter to the park.
